Name: Rasberi's Racin Diva CGC, TDI,
AX, OAJ, MAD, TM-Bronze, JM, AG, AS, AR, Qualifying for 2006
Semi-Finals Grand Prix
(Won 6 Local Qualifying events, 3 Team Qualifiers and 4
Steeplechase Qualifiers). Top 10 for the first half
of 2006 - Tournament (#2),
Gamblers (#7), Snooker (#3), Standard (#3)
Breeder: Debbie Rasberry from Rasberi's Chinese
Cresteds
Soft Temperament: YES Diva is fear submissive.
Weather Conditions: Diva has worked for me in 90F down
to 29F - she is all heart Focus: She has hardly NO
focus if dogs are barking around her, she is scared of strange
dogs and will stop in the middle of a run if a dog barks. Speed: When
she is on - she is a speed demon. Jumping Style: Very
smooth, never knocked a bar (or missed a contact) Health: RETIRED
(before she was 3yrs) due to Medial and Lateral Luxation,
her left hind is very affected. We are looking at a possible
full knee replacement just so she wont suffer so much as
she ages. Confirmed by specialist that this only ever occurs
when the parents are affected. Diva fear/scare trait has
made it very tough to train her, as she will shut down whenever
a strange dog barks while she is on course, if I can control
that issue, she is wonderful. Diva has a lightening down
on the table, as well as a great sit. I put this down to
training her from the day I got her on a variety of surfaces
and rewarding only the exact behavior I wanted (clicker).
I trained our contacts with the 'Hit It" board and had great
success, her contacts, especially her A-Frame is just perfect,
no break in stride whatsoever. Diva use to have a great teeter,
but experienced a fly off, and then found the pivot point.
Up until she was retired, it was our sticking point. We have
decided it was just a coincidence. Diva is the reason I have
this page, to share all of our training issues and experiences.

Louie Eyes just CERF'd OK, he does
have low thryoid. He is a BIG BOY crested. Very large for crested I understand
his Sire has been CERF normal for awhile and Sires mom. PEDIGREE
Fran has PRA -- the NON-prcd (so blood
test won't find it). So use her info to know who might be dogs to avoid. There
are several in her pedigree with PRA as I understand -- from
mother's side. PEDIGREE
Training wise: I find Cresteds soft; if they get corrected
and don't understand why they will shut down; run off. Doesn't
have to be major thing just something that Hits them at wrong
time. We never figured out what set her off but Fran,
early in her training, would run to car. Paul had to
drop out of agility for awhile and do obedience ; re-bonding
before she'd do Agility again. After, she never ran
as fast as she could usually stay behind him. Part
of this was from Obedience and she'd be watching him and
hard to run fast if your head is up (Paul is around 6'3" and
she was 11")
Louie didn't like people behind him
; has shown soft streak but less than Fran ever did. Some
of my table issues are where the judge located.

I don't know if mine is of any value as he is a rescue without
a pedigree. His DOB is around 12/ 01/ 1993. Sire,
damn, and breeder unknown. Titles: CD, UCD, MX,
MXJ, EAC, OJC, U-ATCH. ILP name: Delta's Flying
Mustang.
When Chung came to us, he was an absolute love - - - at
home. When taken to the training facility where he
was exposed to other, larger dogs he became and was
know as Demon Dog. He was without a doubt one of the
most dog aggressive dogs I have seen. He was literally
airborne when another dog came within 15 feet of us. The
one exception was a female golden that he decided was the
love of his life. It took over 2 years to overcome
the aggression issue. In that time we found that obedience
was not his calling, but agility was his passion. He
had no fear of any of the obstacles. The only
challenge was the pause table. He hated putting his
naked belly down on anything that was cold or wet, but
he did manage an MX in spite of that dreaded obstacle. He
and I achieved more than I ever expected to achieve with
any dog, let alone one that was someone else's 'throw away.' He
is definitely a once-in-a-lifetime friend and companion.

Izabelle is a very easy learner....always wants to please
and will do anything for a treat:-) Weather is a big issue
for her, as she hates to get wet and is a HL. Most of her
trials have been indoors. We have lucked out on the outdoor
shows...all have been nice, dry days, although very hot!
I would have pulled her if the conditions were wet...I know
she would shut down on me and I wouldn't want to set her
back.
Talon on the other hand was a challenge.
He learned very quickly, but being a male with a mind all
his own...<G>...and
could care less about food or toys...it was difficult to
keep his attention and took his grand old time loping around
the course. He never did
learn the chute, and his time in JWW was just getting us
a qualifying score. That is why he only has his NAJ...LOL!
I have a retired agility crested.
CH Darshire I'm No April Fool, VCD2 was the first tracking

"Sage" was born March 31, 1992. Sire is: Sun A Ra's

Karns was the breeder but she is no longer breeding. Although
he has some health issues, Sage is still going strong in
his old age. Hope
this helps.
Soft Temperament: Yes but biddable Weather Conditions:
Hates rain, we are working on that Focus: Has focus when
food is involved Speed: Still too young to determine Jumping
Style: Not
applicable Health: Only 5mths - is showing a looser than
normal knee - so I will keep you all posted to the prelim
results later in the year.
DeeKay's I Can't Stop Raving Soft Temperament:
Yes, but extremely outgoing. Was like a border collie in a
little body. Very prey driven Weather Conditions: Hated the
heat and the cold. Loves water and ripping off sprinkler heads.
Focus: Yes, very food motivated and toy motivated Speed: Very
fast (as some squirrels found out!) Jumping Style: Needed
work, she is more cobby in her build, and didn't have a flow.
We worked on the Susan Salo jumping format and that helped
her. RETIRED: Pip has two leaky values and a hole in her heart.
She would get very upset if I was working agility with Diva,
and not her, so the sake of her health, we re-homed her into
a pet home.

- PEDIGREE Rasberi's Snazzy Snowbird CD, RA, CGC, AX,
AXJ, MAD Bird is a talented little girl, it's a shame her
brain isn't always in gear. She has the ability (and has
proven it) to be up their with the Shelties, however, in
agility, she gets way excited, the silly smile spreads over
her face, and as a handler you hold on for the ride and pray
you can get the last four jumps in before she makes up her
own courses. She is learning to work distance, but is pretty
clingy if she is not comfortable in environment. Bird is
a pushy broad, who demands attention and then sulks if it
is not given to her. She hates other dogs getting attention
and in protest she pushes them aside. She is getting a lot
better since I have moved to NILIF, so now is offering desirable
behaviors to get attention. Bird LOVES playing with water
and will chase the sprinklers for hours, a trait she passed
onto Pip. Soft Temperament: Yes, but pushy. Shutdowns if
she thinks she is wrong (even when she's not). Weather Conditions:
She copes with most of the extremes but does hate hot tables.
Focus: 80% of the time, 20% of the time she is a clown. Speed:
Fast on her good days, slow on the days that she is in another
world. No consistency. Jumping Style: Over jumps, is
working with stride regulators and lots of box work. Is also
working her rounds (270's).
I don't actively exhibit in agility
right now, but I did take Glory through an agility class
and if I had had some equipment at home to practice with
her would have been able to at least do jumpers and weaves. I bred her instead. I
may begin working her again some this fall as I can get a
little equipment made. Would you want any info on her? I
bred her and she is conformation and ob. She would
be able to do more if I would work with her more. I
will send info anyway and you can use if you want. ;o}

Glory did not like to go through the
curved tunnels or chute (if she couldn't see through she
didn't want to go in) but on the day of exam, when we got
there early to do some run-through, she walked up to each
one of them and looked up at me waiting for me to see her
and ran through them!!! She knows
what to do, she just tries me I think. I have to learn
how to outwit her, don't I? And to get her to just
love making me happy. We ended up having big problems
with our stays in Nov ob too, so still need one leg there.
Soft Temperament: Definitely, and she
was dubbed my "velcro

rain or wouldn't in the heat Focus: She seemed fairly well
focused, but more on me maybe ;o{ Speed: Not the fastest - but
maybe neither was I Jumping Style: Good

My dogs name is Princess Fling Flynn NAJ,NAP,NJP,OJP,she
is a powder puff, she was born 5/31/97, I do not have
the sire and dam info, but I know the breeder was Beth
Reidelbach of Maryland. I got Fling from her original
owner. She was my room mate I gave me Fling when
she moved out. I never knew if she was registered
so I got an ILP # for her.
I did not start her in agility
until she was 7 years old. I never thought she was
interested. I was training my aussies and she acted
like she wanted to try. I took her to A Click Above
in Leesburg VA, they do clicker training and are
excellent. She loved training and did very well. She
is very food motivated, she does not play with toys at
all. I am sure that things would be different if
I would have started as a puppy or a younger age. She
does very well. She have luxating patella so last
spring she decided contacts were not fun anymore. She
only does jumpers now. She is in Excellent in AKC
and P2 in USDAA. I think her biggest issue is focus. Sometimes
she just zones out, this is during training. For
shows she is great. I have no issues with her. It
helps I can run with her although she is very fast. I
have her in preferred so she jumps 8". She measured
10 3/8". She loves to get out and strut her stuff. I
have never had any problems with weather, she has run and
Q'ed in the rain and wind. She is good with all surfaces. She
is not fearful. I think she likes showing off for
people.

well. PEDIGREE

Testing: Have not had any testing done to date.
Comments: I currently own 7 dogs, and have
trained and competed in agility with 5 of them. Phantom
knew 'sit', 'down', 'left' and 'right' by the age of 4 months. He
took a Puppy Obedience class and a Performance Puppy
class when he was 6 months old. I am trying very hard
NOT to rush with his agility training...but it's hard...he
really wants to play the game! He responds very well
to clicker training. At 8 months old he has a
delightful "2 on/2 off" on a Buja board, and we are now transferring
this to A-frame and dogwalk.
Phantom was completely housebroken by 4 months of age. He
is still intact and has never once marked in the house. He
is happy and outgoing, loves all people and most dogs. He
is almost fearless. And he is amazingly FAST!
Phantom is by far the easiest puppy
I've ever had. I
knew very little about Cresteds when I got him, but he has
been a fantastic ambassador for the breed wherever we
go.

This little girl has great performance and show potential. Her
father (see photo) China Road Wood Chip RN MX MXJ has qualified
for the 2007 National Agility Championship in Columbus, OH
and was 6th on the 2006 AKC Agility Invitational (sponsored
by Eukanuba) list. Her Aunt(see photo) Fairway RN MX

and half sister China Road Taylor Made RA MX MXJ have also
qualified for the 2007 National Agility Championship and
are going to the 2006 AKC Agility Invitational (sponsored
by Eukanuba) l in Long Beach CA. They three of them
belong to and are very active with Therapy Dogs International. In
addition, Fairway belongs to Animal Health Foundation (Pet
Partners, Delta Affiliate) and Pet Prescriptions. They
all love their therapy work. As only another crested
person would understand, they chirp with excitement each
time they anticipate going on a visit. In addition,
Chip, Taylor and Fairway all do Rally-O (see Rally Titles
above) and help teach freestyle. This little girl's mother,
China Road Itsagimmie, is now in training as a Hearing Alert
Dog. Her grandfather is CH China Road Tanglewood! He
is now 10 years old and doing great. Her grandfather
on her mother's side is CH Montrose China Road Phantom who
is 9 years old. He is and also doing fine for his age. Without
saying, longevity is in her heritage. This little girl
is from very old true hairless lines with wonderful skin
and outstanding dispositions which allow for both versatility
and performance. She has a lot to live up to, but she
can do it. !!! She spends a great deal of her
day playing on her wobble board. She also is working
on her clicker training, recall and has had tons of socialization. She
loves toys and is very food motivated. She is
sweet, confident, energetic, fast, strong, interactive, funny,
curious, and athletic and each day it seems I could add another
adjective. Whoever is fortunate enough to have
this puppy choose them as her people will be very fortunate.
China Road Wood Chip RN MX MXJ is a charmer and a true hairless
from very old lines. As you can see in the photo, he is also
very athletic. He often jumps 20 inches when his actual jump
height is 8 inches. This can be a problem in that sometimes
he jumps over the electronic timers. When he gets serious
about jumping, he levels out, but when it is for fun or I am running
slowly he fly's high. Chip has qualified for the 2007 National
Agility Championship in Columbus, OH. and was 6th on the 2006 AKC
Agility Invitational (sponsored by Eukanuba) list. His full
sister Fairway RN MX MXJ OAP MJP NADAC Agility Titles NAC NJC and
his daughter China Road Taylor Made RA MX MXJ have both qualified
for the2007 National Agility Championship. They also have both
been invited and are going to 2006 AKC Agility Invitational (sponsored
by Eukanuba) in Long Beach CA. Chip is very social, sweet
and loving. He is also a bit of a “Ham” and loves to wave
at his groupies. He belongs to Therapy Dogs International
and loves his therapy work. As only another crested person
would understand, he chirps with excitement each time he anticipates
going on a visit. In addition, Chip and his daughter Taylor
and full sister Fairway all do Rally-O (see titles) and help teach

come from very old unique true hairless lines with wonderful skin

Wiedeman - China Road Taylor Made RA MX MXJ - TAYLOR
Born 7/19/2003 China Road Taylor Made RA MX MXJ is a
trimmed Chinese Crested powderpuff or wanta be hairless crested. She
is the daughter of China Road Wood Chip RN MX MXJ and niece
of Fairway RN MX MXJ OAP MJP NADAC Agility Titles NAC NJC. All
three of them have all qualified for the 2007 National Agility
Championship in Columbus, OH. Due to finances, only
Taylor is going to the National Agility Championship this
year. Also Daddy (Chip) was 6th on the 2006 AKC Agility
Invitational (sponsored by Eukanuba) list. Taylor and Fairway
are both attending the 2006 AKC Agility Invitational (sponsored
by Eukanuba) in Long Beach CA. Taylor is also very
active with Therapy Dogs International, does Rally-O and
helps teach freestyle. Taylor is sweet, outgoing, tenacious
and quite humorous. Unless Taylor is competing, she
does not take life very seriously. She is always looking
for something to do, get, play, see etc. One day on
our way to the agility ring, I saw that she had a little
fur mouse in her mouth. I asked her where she had stolen
it from. She took it back to the chair of a, fortunately
a very sweet, elderly German Shepard. Taylor sat on
the chair and refused to give the mouse back to the, by this
time, very confused Shepard. One day during a therapy visit
she turned up with a sandwich that must have been at least
3 weeks old! The stories go on and on. She keeps
me laughing. She is so very smart that most times I
am challenged to keep up to her. I allow her run our
household because that's the way it ends up anyway. Her
tenacious spirit and light heart keeps me laughing though
out each day. I often wonder how much better the world
would be if everyone had a crested or at least could be allowed
the daily pleasures that crested can bring to us.
Taylor, Chip and Fairway are outgoing,
tenacious and quite humorous. They come from very
old unique true hairless lines with wonderful skin and
outstanding dispositions which allow for both versatility
and performance.
Fairway RN MX MXJ OAP MJP NADAC Agility Titles NAC NJC is
a true hairless and from very old lines. As you can
see in the photo, she is very athletic. She is a serious
competitor with very efficient jumping skills. She
does not like to feel like she has made a mistake and usually
blames herself for my goofs. Her brother China Road
Wood Chip RN MX MXJ has qualified for the 2007 National Agility
Championship in Columbus, OH and was 6th on the 2006 AKC
Agility Invitational (sponsored by Eukanuba) list. Fairway
and her niece China Road Taylor Made RA MX MXJ have both
